"Painting is the pattern of one's own nervous system being projected on canvas."

- Francis Bacon

From my exploration and experiments, I had discovered a form of 'pattern', in disarray, dominated with various form of lines and colours. Artwork was created using technique called Sgaffito, made from scratching the surface to a lower layer of contrasting colour and textures. This ties in metaphorically the beauty that can be found in the flaws of the human person. Darkness that culminates the canvas is being scratched to reveal the beauty beneath.
